- February 3 – Basketmaking, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, $35 Class is full.
Learn the basics of basketmaking by weaving your own unique basket. Materials will be provided.
- February 17 – Rug Hooking, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, $35 Class is full.
Create one-of-a-kind small rug using both wool strips and yarn on cloth backing. Materials will be provided.
- March 16 – Weaving to Felt, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, $35 Class is full.
Create a piece of unique fabric, woven on one side and felted on the other side that can then be transformed into other objects. Materials will be provided. - March 30 – Landscape Weaving, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, $35 Class is full.
Weave a scene of trees, creeks, and hills on a warped frame to create a one-of-a-kind wall hanging Frames and needles will be provided. Students will be instructed as to yarns to bring. - April 20 – Rug Hooking, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, $35
Learn the basics of rug hooking using both wool strips and wool yarn. All materials provided. - May 11 – Spin-In, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm, free for members
Join us for spinning fun, bring your own wheel or spindle or use one of ours. - May 11 – Needle Felting 3-D, 12:30-3:00, $20
Learn the basics of needle-felting using pre-felted wool balls as cores. All materials are provided. Just bring your creativity! - June 8-9 – Old Economy Village Bi-centennial Celebration, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Join us under the tent for loads of fiber fun including an interactive fleece-to-shawl and other hands on activities. Benefits Kindred Spirit Rescue Ranch so donations will be accepted and shawl will be auctioned off. Fleece provided by Ozzy the sheep! - June 29 – Beginning Rigid Heddle, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, $30
Learn the basics of weaving on a rigid heddle loom while producing your own scarf. All materials provided. - July 6 – Beginning Basketmaking, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, $30
Learn the basics of making a basket with a woven base and a simple handle. All materials provided.
