    • Create a piece of useable art by molding wool on something and felting it. All materials included.

    • Create some ears of colorful corn out of basket weaving reed. All materials included.
  • November 21, 2026: Basket Making, Japanese Technique
    • Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

    • Learn to weave a basket using traditional Japanese weaving techniques. Basket TBD. All materials included.

  • March 28, 2026: Intermediate Rigid Heddle Weaving, 10:00am – 3:00pm, $30. Now that you know how to do plain weave on the rigid heddle loom, learn more advanced techniques to create patterns, color and textures. Some materials will be provided and instructions will be sent to those wanting to bring their own looms.
  • February 28, 2026: Nuno Felt a Lattice Scarf, 10:00am – 3:00pm, $40. Wet felt wool on silk to create a stunning scarf.  All materials provided.
  • January 31, 2026: Tunisian Crochet, 10:00am – 1:00pm, $20. Learn the basics of a crochet technique that mimics knitting. All materials provided.
  • December 13, 2025: Needle Felt an Ornament, 10:00am – 1:00pm, $20. Felt a holiday ornament using specialized needles and colored wool.  All materials provided.
  • November 22, 2025: Rigid Heddle Weaving, 10:00am – 3:00pm, $30. Warp and weave a unique scarf on a portable loom. All materials provided.
  • November 1, 2025: Basket Woven Corn, 10:00am – 3:00pm, $25. Weave an ear or two of corn out of basket reeds and corn husks.  All materials provided.
  • October 25, 2025: Needle Felt a Pumpkin, 1:00 – 3:00pm, $20. Felt a pumpkin using specialized needles and colored wool.  All materials provided.
  • October 25, 2025: Broom Making, 10:00am – 12:30pm, $25. Make a turkey wing or angel wing broom by hand.  All materials provided.
  • October 18, 2025: Intro to Knitting, 10:00am – 1:00pm, $15. Learn to cast on, knit, purl, bind off, and read a simple pattern. Most materials provided.
  • August 30, 2025: Basket Weaving, 10:00am – 3:00pm, $45. Create a tote basket with cotton strap handles! All materials provided.
  • July 26, 2025: Drop Spindle Spinning, 10:00am – 2:00pm, $20. Learn the ancient art of spinning fiber into yarn using a drop spindle in this hands-on class. Perfect for fiber enthusiasts and those curious about spinning! You’ll discover the basics of drafting, spinning, and plying while creating your own handspun yarn. All materials provided and cost includes your very own top whorl drop spindle.
  • July 19, 2025: Rigid Heddle Weaving, 10:00am – 3:00pm, $25.  Learn the basics of weaving by making a full length scarf on a portable loom. All materials provided.
  • June 21, 2025:  Tunisian Crochet, 10:00am – 1:00pm, $20. Learn a crochet technique that mimics knitting using a long hook. All materials provided. (postponed to January 2026)
  • April 26, 2025: Granny Square Class, 10:00am – 2:00pm, $15. Learn the basics of crocheting a granny square! No crochet experience necessary. All materials provided. Piecing them together will also be presented. The possibilities are endless!
  • April 5, 2025: Wet Felting Basket Class, 10:00am – 3:00pm, $35. Create an Easter/Spring basket by wet felting wool on a form. All materials are provided.
  • March 8, 2025: Beginning Needle Felting, 10:00am – 2:00pm, $25. Learn the basics of needle felting by starting with a 2-D wool painting and then create a 3-D critter of your choice from a small sampling. All materials will be provided.
  • February 22, 2025: Nuno Felting, 10:00am – 2:00pm, $30. Nuno felting creates a warm, light and airy fabric. Using a silk scarf, students will create a one of a kind piece. Beginner friendly! Students will need to bring a large towel from home.
  • January 18, 2025: Basket Weaving, 10:00 am – 3:00pm, $35. Students will create a multi-colored basket with or without handles. Beginners and experienced welcome!
  • December 14, 2024: Weaving a Christmas Tree Topper or Star Wall Hanging, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, $25. Using basket weaving reed and wood glue, make a hanging star in natural color and another using color. All materials provided.
  • November 16, 2024: Basket Weaving Indian Corn, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, $25. Using colored basket weaving reed, you will make a corn shaped object or two to embellish your Thanksgiving table. All materials provided.
  • November 2, 2024: Rigid Heddle Weaving, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, $30. Learn the basics of weaving by making a scarf on a portable and affordable loom known as rigid heddle. All materials provided.
  • November 2, 2024: Tunisian Crochet, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, $15. Using a long crochet hook, learn the technique of Tunisian crochet to create a scarf. No crochet experience needed. Bring worsted weight yarn and hook if you have one.
  • October 19, 2024: Broom Making, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, $30. Learn the techniques of making brooms with your choice of a witch broom or a utilitarian whisk broom. All materials provided.
  • October 5, 2024: Needle Felting Pumpkins, 10:00 am – noon, $20. You will needle felt colored wool onto a wool base to create a pumpkin or two. All materials provided.
